SCC is a gathering of believers whose central aim is to know and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the core of Adventist theology and practice. He is the One from whom we draw our life and being — as the apostle Paul expressed it, “In Him we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28.
Only because we ourselves have received grace from Christ can we share it. Therefore, through His Holy Spirit living through us we become the embodiment of God’s living presence on earth indiscriminately demonstrating love, mercy and justice for all His creation, regardless of religious, social, gender, sexual orientation or ethnic being.
Through His eyes, we see a world in need of compassion and restoration. We do not wait for His soon return to experience His command to love one another as He has loved us.
